Humbert Challenge – Project 52 #30

Yesterday Swinford Tri-Sports held their 5th annual Humbert Challenge Triathlon. In previous years the event was a Half Ironman Triathlon consisting of a 1.9 KM swim in Callow lake, a 90 KM bike and a 22 KM run. This years Humbert challenge was changed to the Olympic distance triathlon which is a bit shorter than the Half Iron Man distance. The Olympic distance swim is 1.5 KM, bike is 40 KM and the run is 10 KM. I have been Marshalling at the Humbert Challenge for the last 4 years and have photographed the event for the last 3 years. Out of the 460 or so photos that I took yesterday, these are my favourites!

Great sisterly support crossing the finish line with mum and dad and family cheering them on.

Think this is brilliant, even the young toddler in mums arms has a “Go Daddy Go” t-shirt! All the official times from yesterday can be downloaded and viewed from RedTag Timing here.
