I recently ordered a new lens for myself as I found the Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5 afs vr a bit slow in certain conditions. See photo;

28mm, f/4.5, iso 3200, @ 1/125sec.

This is one of the first shots that I took with my new lens, Sigma 18-50mm  f/2.8-4.5 DC   HSM VR AFS.

I’m looking forward to getting some landscape shots with that! I got this lens in the post earlier on this week and the first chance that I’ll get to try it out will be in Croke Park this weekend. I will be up in HQ for the match between Dublin and Mayo later on this evening. We are staying up in Dublin for the weekend and I hope to get down to Croke Park on Sunday morning to do the stadium and museum tour. (I will have all the photos of the match uploaded as usual, though it will be late Sunday evening.)

All the photos that I took at the Mayo v Clare boxing match can be viewed at the Swinford Boxing Club website album Mayo v Clare. You can view all the photos from the mural on Swinford Tidy Towns website album, New Mural at Chapel Street.
