Mayo v Tyrone Rd3 16th February 2025
It might have been ugly, but we’ll take that win for a badly needed 2 points. The announcer warned patrons over the tannoy, “anyone leaving at half time, would need to purchase another ticket, to regain entry”. I think anyone that did leave at half time, were probably sorry to have bought a ticket in the first place! Mayo’s recent performances have tested the Mayo supporters, and it showed today. Barely a whimper when the lads came out on the pitch, and the match attendance today was very poor. They never even announced a match attendance, I’d say there was about 7K to 8K there today. Mayo 0-12 to Tyrone 0-10. Mayo GAA blogs match report and discussion here; https://www.mayogaablog.com/mayo-0-12-tyrone-0-10-a-win-is-a-win-is-a-win/
