Swinford v Aughamore Semi Final Cannon Henry Cup 2025

Match photos from the Swinford v Aughamore Semi Final Cannon Henry Cup 2025, played in Aughamore on Friday 18th April. Very tough conditions for a match, played in driving ice cold wind and rain. At half time it was Swinford 1-03 to Aughamore 1-04. Our lads pushed on in the second half and the match ended level at full time, 1-09 to 1-09. After extra time, it again ended level 1-14 to 1-14. Under full floodlights the penalty shootout happened at the farthest goals from the stand, which made it very difficult to get any decent shots. We ended up winning the shootout 3 goals to 2. On now to the Cannon Henry Cup final. Date, time and opponents TBC.
