Donegal were hot favourites to win this match and according to some outlets, it was only a matter of turning up in MacHale park. Our lads however had other ideas, as I’d thought they would! The lads really upped their game today in what was pretty harsh conditions at times during the match. What a performance though from every player, the work rate and support for each other was top notch, something thats been missing from our play in rescent times. Mayo won out on a scoreline of Mayo 1-14 to Donegal 1-10. View WJ’s match report here. (PS Mayo GAA, can you please get that damned tannoy system fixed. We ‘re usually seated in the stand, even in there its difficult to hear anything. Out on the terrace’s though its impossible to hear a damned thing from it).
