Yesterday we held our annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Brabazon woods in Swinford. This is the 4th year of the hunt which is held on Easter Sunday, and it has been the most successful to date. Over 140 kids took part, which is also free! We got them to count down from 10, but when they got to 5 they were gone like hares!! Thanks as ever to our very generous sponsors, Sean Gavaghan’s Mace Lower Main St & Derek Kennedy’s Eurospar Market St. Thank’s also to all the Tidy Towns volunteers for hiding all the eggs and marshalling on the day. Thanks to Cllr. Joe Mellett for organising the event again this year. All the photos can be viewed on Swinford Tidy Towns website.
