Mayo v Donegal 30th January 2022
Match photos and video highlights from the division 1 round 1 league match between Mayo v Donegal 30th January 2022. Although this was a home match for Mayo, due to the resurfacing of MacHale Park, the match had to be played in Markieicz Park in Sligo. We played pretty poorly for 3/4’s of the game, I’m not sure if that’s the reason I took so few photos, or the fact that I’ve gotton pretty rusty with the trigger finger! We did however manage to steal a draw, thank to the cracking long range free from the sideline by Robbie! Match ended up 0-11 to 0-11 a piece. Today was also the end of an era from my usual match day. My trusted 3 wingmen weren’t with me for the first time. Tom has taken retirement and the 2 nephews are now travelling to the match’s with their own mates. It sure is great to be back, and to see all the old familiar faces again!
