Match photos and video highlights from Mayo v Dublin 1st February 2020. The national football league round 2 match was played in MacHale park in Castlebar. Mayo played well enough in the first half, despite loosing Jordan Flynn through a red in about the 20th minute. Although I’d thought before the match that Dublin were most likely going to beat us, the first half performance had changed my mind. Ahead of them through most of the first half, they managed to draw with us, 0-05 apiece going into half time. Some bad shooting from us though in the second half, coupled with some dubious decisions from the man in the middle, helped turn the tide against us. With 14 men for us on the pitch, for most of the game, just proved too steep of a hill to climb. Mayo 0-08 to Dublin 1-11. Read Wj’s match report here.
