Match photos from the Connacht Semi Final, Mayo v Galway 18th June 2016. Mayo v Galway was played in MacHale Park on Saturday the 18th of June. Mayo were on their way to an historical 6th Connacht Championship title in a row (hopefully! Galway stopped us in our tracks). Interestingly Galway have not beaten Mayo in a Championship match since 2008! Mayo lost on a scoreline of 0-12 to Galway 1-12. Apologies for quality of some photos. Lighting was poor and I had to keep adjusting ISO to compensate, (note to self, switch on auto ISO in future!). Floodlights came on at half time (Sky Sports most likely demanded them for cameras, 8 of which I counted there), which helped.
