The Mayo v Monaghan match was played in MacHale Park Castlebar in front of 10,817 hardy supporters on a bitterly cold frosty night. Mayo lost to a much better Monaghan team on the night, Mayo 0-12 to Monaghan 1-11. A disappointing result but on a brighter note, we got to celebrate Mayo GAA Blog’s 10th birthday, and of course AnnMarie’s yummy cake. AnnMarie’s cakes and cup cakes are to die for!!
