Match photos from the Mayo v Tipperary All Ireland Semi Final 2016 in Croke Park. This is the sixth year in a row that Mayo have reached the semi final stage of the All Ireland Championship. Mayo v Tipperary is a rather unusual and rare meeting between the two counties in championship football. We have only met 3 times before, 2002, 1922 and 1919. Thanks to Mayo Mark over on Mayo Club 51 for doing some extensive research. Mayo won today 2-13 to Tipperary 0-14. Mayo now face either Kerry or Dublin in the All Ireland Final on Sunday the 18th of September.
