Its even better when the result goes our way despite some suspect decisions and a serious injury to one of our players. Speedy recovery to young Eoighan Mac Loughlan. Despite all the setbacks we managed to finally beat Monaghan in Clones, for what was as long as I can remember, a fortress for them. Monaghan 1-11 to Mayo 2-10. Standout player for me today was young Ryan O’Donohue, who, despite being pulled and dragged all over the pitch, still managed to score 1-6 (I think) past his marker!
